Insignia Window Air Conditioner - 5000 BTU - White

Works well but the fan is so loud, even on low. I cant sleep when its hot but i cant sleep when its noisy as hell neither. I’ll return it

I should have bought two of these units when it was on sale. The one I bought has been very good so far. Slightly longer at 1.5-2 hours to cool my larger 175 sq ft bedroom and the compressor turning on and off at night is clunky. But both are perfectly acceptable for the price. It was hard to find the right temperature setting on the dial - there are 7 marks on the dial and I had to set the unit to 5.5/7 for the compressor to turn on and start cooling a room that was 26-27C to 21C. It seems like 27C should be a 1/7 or 2/7 on the dial, not 5/7. Oh well.

This is the first A/C unit I have ever bought and definitely do not regret it. It cools off my bedroom within 30 minutes to an hour. Very nice to have in the hot Alberta summers

I'm pleased and very satisfied with this air-conditioner, it's very quiet and quickly cools the room. I love it and like all newly manufactured air-conditioners doesn't drip water , it uses the water to cool itself. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's more expensive than other brands by $70 or $80 ,other than that it's great .

Product is exactly as described, newer model, cute in size just what we needed to cool our bedroom more than we expected.
