Best Buy offers scheduled delivery for large or heavy items like 60"+ TVs, major appliances, mattresses, and fitness equipment. The cost and delivery method is based on the address you enter for delivery. Read the information below for full details.

Delivery packaging: Large items are delivered in their original box with the shipping label placed directly on the outside. The box may arrive with slight wear or scuffs.

Delivery methods by location

Regardless of method of delivery, all large item deliveries will not be left unattended and will require a signature from a person of 18 years or older.

The method of delivery will depend on the location of your delivery, as follows:

Major urban and greater surrounding areas

For the most part, we offer in-home delivery for all large item purchases, whereby the delivery agent(s) will bring the item(s) directly into your home.


Remote areas

Customers in remote areas can expect curbside or doorstep delivery (sometimes at doorstep, depending on the item).

  • Air delivery fees: Some remote areas require air delivery for large items. When you make your purchase, we will not yet know if air delivery will be necessary or what the fees will be. The need for air delivery will only be known during the shipment process, at which point you will be contacted and given the option to pay the air delivery fee or cancel your order. If you don't respond within 48 hours, your order will automatically be cancelled.

P.O. Boxes

Due to carrier restrictions, we cannot deliver large items to P.O. box addresses.


What to expect before your delivery

A week before your delivery

We’ll send you a text message to remind you of your scheduled delivery and for you to confirm that your chosen delivery date is correct.

If you notice that any of the details are incorrect, or you would like to reschedule, simply follow the instructions included in the text message.


The day before your delivery

The day before of your scheduled delivery, you'll receive an automated call and a text message. Typically, you will receive the call after 3:00pm local time. The call will:

  • Confirm that your delivery is scheduled for the following day
  • Inform you of the 3-hour delivery window

Shortly after the automated call, we'll send you a text message with important information related to your delivery—please read this information carefully.

If you notice that any of the details are incorrect, or you would like to reschedule, simply follow the instructions included in the text message. If you miss the automated call, we will leave the same information as a voicemail.


Returns, exchanges, removals, and additional in-home services

For any returns, exchanges, or haul-away items, please disconnect and empty your old appliance, and prepare the area by clearing all obstacles in the path of the appliance removal.
