Our expert installers will:

• Install existing brackets or support platform for AC units (installer may elect not to perform installation due to legitimate safety concerns).
• Install all knobs, controls, filters, and accessory covers.
• Secure the unit according to the manufacturer’s requirements and tilt the unit to allow for proper drainage.
• Seat storm window and upper sash onto AC or chassis and install all gaskets and seals
• Install any additional caulking or sealant to ensure AC is weather-tight
• Install any piping to ensure AC drainage is safely routed
• Test and monitor all appliance functions.
• Remove and recycle all packaging from the new unit, along with any waste from installation.

Our installation experts will not:

• Install window AC if there’s no balcony directly beneath the proposed window or the height of the apartment unit exceeds the second floor.
• Provide plexiglass to fill in gaps.

To purchase this service online, add an eligible window air conditioner to your cart and select “Window AC (<12,000 BTU) Install” before continuing to checkout. Payment for the installation service is processed at the same time and on the same order as the new window air conditioner.

Once you've made your purchase online, we’ll call to confirm your delivery date. Quick Contractors, our third-party installation experts, will then email you a link to schedule an installation date.

You must book your installation service at least one day after your scheduled delivery date.
